This Privacy Policy explains how Resume Editions handles personal information when you browse the website, create an account, contact support or place an order.
Information we may collect
- Contact and account information, such as name and email address.
- Order details, products purchased, transaction references and payment status.
- Billing details required for checkout and record keeping.
- Messages sent to customer support.
- Device, browser, IP address, cookie and usage information generated when the site is used.
Payment information
Payments may be processed by independent gateways such as Paystack or Flutterwave. The gateway handles sensitive payment credentials according to its own systems and privacy terms. Resume Editions should not ask you to send full card details, banking passwords or one-time passwords by email or chat.
How information is used
Information may be used to process orders, confirm payments, provide downloads, operate customer accounts, respond to support requests, prevent fraud, maintain security, comply with legal obligations and improve the store.
Service providers
Relevant information may be handled by hosting, email, analytics, security, payment and backup providers where necessary to operate the website. They receive only the access reasonably required for their role.
Cookies and analytics
The site may use essential cookies for carts, checkout, account sessions and security. With appropriate consent where required, analytics and advertising technologies may be used to measure performance and advertising results.
Meta Pixel and advertising measurement
When enabled, Resume Editions may use the Meta Pixel in the browser and the Meta Conversions API on the server to measure page views, product views, cart activity, checkout starts and confirmed purchases. Browser and server Purchase events may share the same event identifier so Meta can recognise one transaction rather than count the same purchase twice.
Information used for advertising measurement may include campaign parameters, landing page and referrer information, browser identifiers such as _fbp or _fbc, device and browser information, IP address, order value, product identifiers and checkout information converted into a one-way hashed form before server transmission. Meta processes this information under its own terms and privacy policies. Tracking should be activated only with the disclosures and consent required by applicable law.
Retention and security
Information is retained for as long as reasonably needed for orders, support, security, accounting and legal obligations. Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used, but no online system can promise absolute security.
Your choices
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion of certain personal information. Some records may need to be retained for legal, fraud-prevention or accounting purposes.
